Hopefully this is true. Fallout 3 was great, New Vegas was fantastic.

I'd like for it to be made by Obsidian myself, but don't see either Obsidian or Bethesda jumping up at the chance to work with each other again.

Metacritic is an aggregate of opinions, it's not objective. Why are gamers so ignorant? Not to mention the fact that many reviews knocked new vegas for bugs when fallout 3 had the same issues, but did not receive the same treatment. In that sense you can see how inconsistent reviewers are.

New Vegas recieved lower review scores because of all the bugs and glitches at launches. Most of which have been patched. 

Watch this video and then try to tell me 3 is better than New Vegas.

I don't know about that, but they both had plenty of bugs at launch which is what is important in this conversation. Same thing happened with Skyrim, it got a free pass for some reason when in a lot of ways there were more game breaking bugs going on there than in Fallout 3 or new vegas.

Also, bugs are bound to happen in any game with the scope and numberof scripts and such going on in those games. Bugs don't make a game bad either way.
