Both still have a lot of bugs.

I don't know about that, but they both had plenty of bugs at launch which is what is important in this conversation. Same thing happened with Skyrim, it got a free pass for some reason when in a lot of ways there were more game breaking bugs going on there than in Fallout 3 or new vegas.

Also, bugs are bound to happen in any game with the scope and numberof scripts and such going on in those games. Bugs don't make a game bad either way.

Yes, bugs and glitches will make a game bad especially if the game is never really fixed. From day 1 til now, their games are still plagued by inexcusable glitches but people have gotten so used to it that it's fine in their eyes.

Not really. All of those games are perfectly playable.

What is an "inexcusable" glitch in your mind?

For example, ones that manage to freeze your console after a short time of playing or the one that locks you out from doing anymore quests because a npc won't appear where it should. They are inexcusable because it's been YEARS since the games have been out and yet there's plenty of bugs still around. Some of 'em are avoidable if you know where the glitch starts or if you have enough saves to go back to. In any other series, these kind of glitches would not be tolerable but because of gamers just dealing with it and apologists, they just keep making the most buggiest games.

I liked both 3 and New Vegas, but 3 is definitely my most favorite of the 2.

Lawd when that game comes out ill make so much time for it. Fallout is still one of my favorite games ever and new vegas was really good as well.

Can't stop imagining how Fallout will be like on PS4/Xbone. I just want it to be more like F3 than New Vegas.

I liked the grey and depresing themes of the capital wasteland way more than the Mohave Wasteland.

No way the capitol wasteland was boring as hell. Mojave all the way, not to mention New Vegas is the far better game in every way.

I just have to disagree with you on this.   I'll never forget the first time my character left Vault 101 in F3.

I could never quite get into Fallout 3 the way most did. It was a good game and all, but I just couldn't keep playing it for hours on end like other great games, just because everything was so damn brown, grey, and dead. I mean I understand why that makes sense, it's a post-apocalyptic world, but it just starts bugging me after a while. Also I just couldn't quite get as immersed in the world the way I expected for some reason. Idk

Never played NV since it seemed like more of the same, though I've heard from many it's a considerably better game

Hopefully it's a team up of Bethesda Game Studios and Obsidian. Obsidian would help with a lot of writing and whatnot, but they *need* help with their open world construction. Fallout New Vegas was great but that world (outside of right around the main roads) was so painfully barren.

However people, don't get excited yet. Remember Survivor2299 and stay calm.

Why is that showing concept art from STALKER?

Metacritic says 3 was quite a bit better than New Vegas. So, you are objectively completely wrong.

New Vegas recieved lower review scores because of all the bugs and glitches at launches. Most of which have been patched.

Watch this video and then try to tell me 3 is better than New Vegas.

New Vegas is funnier and has brighter world, but it recycles a ton from 3 making it less fresh of a game. At the time, I played New Vegas (right at launch) the bugs in New Vegas were greater than all the PS3 Bethesda made games I have played  in both the Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3. Unlike many though a lot of the bugs made laugh as being weird.
