I don't know what "Fallout" is, but I'm intrigued.
The title doesn't help with knowing things.

I could never quite get into Fallout 3 the way most did. It was a good game and all, but I just couldn't keep playing it for hours on end like other great games, just because everything was so damn brown, grey, and dead. I mean I understand why that makes sense, it's a post-apocalyptic world, but it just starts bugging me after a while. Also I just couldn't quite get as immersed in the world the way I expected for some reason. Idk

Never played NV since it seemed like more of the same, though I've heard from many it's a considerably better game

Story-wise, new vegas is vastly superior to fallout 3, bug-wise, well, I'm not sure obsidian actually employs any coders at their studio and are only vaguely aware of what a computer might be in theory.

Yes, bugs and glitches will make a game bad especially if the game is never really fixed. From day 1 til now, their games are still plagued by inexcusable glitches but people have gotten so used to it that it's fine in their eyes.

Not really. All of those games are perfectly playable.

What is an "inexcusable" glitch in your mind?

For example, ones that manage to freeze your console after a short time of playing or the one that locks you out from doing anymore quests because a npc won't appear where it should. They are inexcusable because it's been YEARS since the games have been out and yet there's plenty of bugs still around. Some of 'em are avoidable if you know where the glitch starts or if you have enough saves to go back to. In any other series, these kind of glitches would not be tolerable but because of gamers just dealing with it and apologists, they just keep making the most buggiest games.

its like skyrim not a console game, be happy that you got port... its unplayable without mods...
