Ps4 ( Bought locally second hand ):

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare €30

The Crew €40

Watch Dogs €20

Tomb Raider €20

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor: €30

Console games are even cheaper than Pc games most of the time.

Yeah, right. "Locally second hand"... with no way to check your numbers.

When I look up the prices for used PS4 versions on eBay, no Advance Warfare was sold in the last days for under €40 and no Watch Dogs was sold for less than 30 € shipping included.

Except that it doesnt, most console games are cheaper in amazon buying them used

You also have to add the 2gb of ram of the videocard, though they obviously should have opted for a 4gb card.

PC gaming is cheaper but you also have to take into account trade in value after the fact so if the game cost you 30 and you resell for 20 then it was 10$ I personally trade games locally all the time.

Second hand console games are also extremely cheap, I don't know why some people think that all new console games can only be bought for $60 when one can easily find them second hand for $40.

I know that this doesn't apply for most people, but one of the reasons I like to buy my games in Steam instead of my 360 is because like to support developers I trust, purchasing a game in Steam guarantees that the money I spend on a game (minus Valve's cut of the prize) will get to the hard working people behind it, buying an used game just helps the retailer. Plus, I trust having my games downloaded in my laptop  way more than having a physical copy of them, a disc can break, get scratches, or you could even lose it for some reason, I've had my fair share of consoles crapping out on me too, hell, even my 360 has started to malfunction, so I've learned to not trust consoles as much as I did when I was little.

You can get hacked or if steam is down what then? Discs are fixble there are cd shops who can repair it and blueray discs are pretty much unscracheble. And i think this support argument is pretty bold and relative. I can also say i want to support my retail stores, small interpreteneurs on amazon and co. instead servers located in the USA.

4GB of RAM is not enough, some games require more than 6GB due to number of AI & maps or you could say DISTANCE map, wow, those people(Gamespot & others) need to give up comparision.

Also speaking of 2GB of ram of the videocard, you're absoloutely right. They should have opted for a 4gb card because.... Textures & resolution.

I don't get why these type of threads exist, especially for one using information against a platform that's a year old already.

I game on PC for the time being because it's cheaper for me, has backwards compatability and allows me to upgrade easily along with use of my K+M and gamepad, the only reason I see to grab an XB1 and Wii U is for their exclusives alone which is why I'm waiting for them to go down in price along with the Wii U's online being free like the PC which leaves me with less hassle and not having to pour dosh into the online component which I won't be doing with the XB1 much of the time.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

5/6 of discs I lend over for people to repair them were even in worse condition when they returned them to me. But, I didn't know that about that unscratchable Blu-Ray thingy you said, that's cool, if true. Also, why is my "support" argument bold and relative? I don't get. Don't you want to support developers so that they continue being in the bussiness? You'd rather support retailers? That's fine I guess, but would much rather support the company behind the games I enjoy instead of the one who delivers them.

Regrading the hackz thing, ya got me there, that's a scary thought, but I don't think that's a problem exclusive to Steam, it could happen with any service including PSN and XBLA.

I'm now filled with determination.
