You can get hacked or if steam is down what then? Discs are fixble there are cd shops who can repair it and blueray discs are pretty much unscracheble. And i think this support argument is pretty bold and relative. I can also say i want to support my retail stores, small interpreteneurs on amazon and co. instead servers located in the USA. |
5/6 of discs I lend over for people to repair them were even in worse condition when they returned them to me. But, I didn't know that about that unscratchable Blu-Ray thingy you said, that's cool, if true. Also, why is my "support" argument bold and relative? I don't get. Don't you want to support developers so that they continue being in the bussiness? You'd rather support retailers? That's fine I guess, but would much rather support the company behind the games I enjoy instead of the one who delivers them.
Regrading the hackz thing, ya got me there, that's a scary thought, but I don't think that's a problem exclusive to Steam, it could happen with any service including PSN and XBLA.
I'm now filled with determination.
