Nintendo's online could do with more bells and whistles, but it's foundation is as solid as the other two. It works well, and that's my biggest concern.

Yep, Nintendo online is free and is pretty solid, yeah you don't have all the bells and whistle like the other two but its pretty good the way it is because the games are so much fun to play.
