Captain America in the comics hasn't been changed to a black character, it's Falcon (Sam Wilson) taking Cap's mantle while Cap is a old man. Sure they'll turn that back at some point. You know Black Panther was a woman for a time right? Not T'Challa (ended up being his sister I think), because Black Panther is just a codename.

As a comic book reader, I do however find it highly offensive that they are changing the ethnicity of Human Torch for one very good reason, they didn't change Sue's ethnicity. Many might argue it doesn't matter, he could be adopted or something but this changes the family dynamic, especially if he was adopted. If Ben was changed, no one would care, especially as in the end it would just be a voice to a CG character anyway.

I agree with you the forced diversification of Hollywood can be weird, especially if we as fans of the characters complain, we get called racist. However, Elba is considered for Bond because (and only because) he is a talented British actor (Watch Luthor, a great series). I'm pretty sure all the other ones would be considered at the moment too if Daniel Craig stopped, Fassbender would be good.

I had never considered Elba as the next Bond, but, actually, he would be a perfect fit. He's a good actor, he's British, he's physically powerful. Yeah, I think that would be a home run.

Since I watched Get On Up this weekend and I also liked him in 42 I actually looking forward for Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther in the next Captain America movie and in his own movie even though I know nothing about the character.

Im not a big Bond fan, but that Idris Elba guy would probably be a great one. He seems like a guy who can tackle that role.
