Basically, Nintendo wants 3D mario to be a launch title on their next cycle, wich is a very good idea.

I hope this is the case. Release the ultimate Mario HD collection for Wii U in 2016, but save the next one for their new console. Otherwise we're just gonna the see same weak first year we had with the Wii U.

I get what you're saying!  I still think that a new 3D Mario game for the WiiU will get revealed next year! Not necessarily Galaxy 3 though.

I don't have a WiiU and most probably I won't buy one. So I don't care about another Mario Galaxy or Super Mario Sunshine. Regardless of future Mario Games on WiiU which might be attractive for WiiU owners, I really want a powerful Nintendo Console next time, and a game at Launch capable of WOW everybody, like Mario64 did with Nintendo64. I want a Mario Adventure, a platform/action/adventure, with more freedom and bigger levels, something new. Am I the only one who wants this ??

By 2017-2018 WiiU could be a memory, if the New Hardware comes out in Fall 2016...I would never waste resources to release a WiiU Mario Game so late when a new Hardware is already available. My opinion.

I hope this is indeed true so they can focus on other series like oh....Metroid and games they have like Metroid; Which is really only Metroid.

I really think Mario 64 formula doesn´t work anymore, and i don´t know if I want a Mario Sandbox... if has the playability of 3dworld is fine, but i don´t see that happening. I think a Mario Galaxy 3 with even bigger levels and some new good ideas can be great, at least for now, everybody loves Mario galaxy, i think is  the best Mario 3d ever and i´m sure it would look amazing on WiiU hardware. For next console they have to think on something really revolutionary, but again, not sure if Mario 64 formula still works...

Misleading statement is misleading. Miyamoto is saying the next console will have a new spin on Super Mario as a whole. Nowhere does this imply that there will be no new 3D Mario game on the Wii U. I honestly expect a remake of Sunshine ala Wind Waker and a new 3D one to come to the Wii U in the next year or so.
