Dragon Age Inquisition just has so much more to offer, in terms of story and world. No doubt Bayonetta 2 is a great game but like a sequel to DmC or God of War, it is not very ambitious (in my honest opinion) It is more of the same fantastic gameplay fighting with more wacky stuff from the bayo world.

Also, metacritic score don't dictate GOTY, not always anyways.

Clearly, you and everyone who agrees are right. Everybody else is wrong.

I have yet to play DA:Inquisition. If it is anything like DA:Origins is deserves to win, but if it is closer to DA 2, it deserves to burn in hell.

For the moment and for what i saw, i put Smash, Bayonetta 2 and DA:I in the same level. As long as GOTY stays with them (and Dark Souls 2), it is a fair GOTY. I do hope Shovel Knight and Divinity:OS get some GOTY too, those are very good games too.

Bayonetta is hardly what anyone would call a perfect game when the characters and the plot is weak. What's more is that the action mechanics are designed in an obscene way too so there's that ...

I don't think Bayonetta 2 deserves its metacritic score, so that's where your argument already fails. Metacritic is useless anyway.

DA:I deserves it for the scope that the game tries to achieve.

Bayo 2 is a great genre game but for a hack and slash game to win GOTY it has to be special, like DMC 3 special.

Dude, Inquisition is an amazing game. No matter the platform you play it on and that says a lot by itself. This isn't even funny anymore. Anyone's opinion and taste in gaming etc is like it should be a fact for everyone. Hate how everyone has that illusion all over the internet these days...
