Some adjustments did happen but apparently not enough since PS4 seems over 80k undertracked still.

within margin of error. no biggie.

Hardly, since we last got the 1m announcement a few weeks ago and they should have adjusted it then. So since then instead of adding 200k they added 110k. That's almost 50% off.

Did that happen?

It was after the 1M ps4 sold through announcement as of October 21st or something in Germany.
VGC had 780K or something, it got adjusted to 902K as of October 25th assuming the number was shipped since it comes from sony (even though it was clearly said sold through in the article.)
As of the end of November it's now 1.20M (GfK) vs 1.12M (VGC) for Germany, so the tracking as been good since then but there is still ~80k missing from earlier this year up to 21st October (assuming Sony kinda rounded ~20k in Germany for the announcement)

Yeah this confirms it wasn't just shipped lol. Maybe ioi should learn to trust Sony when they say sold to consumers.

Incredible...

All good deals were only xbox! Just the console 299, or with 3 games for 399..
Playstation deals were meh.. 399 for the console with fifa and singstar.

But those numbers, wow!

Well in Iceland it's very similar although it's a tiny market. XB1 is getting deep discounts here while PS4 gets basically no deals. Only bundles with games that add to the cost. Hell, one bundle adds Murdered: Souls Suspect alone and costs $50 more than the base PS4...Germany is definitely not playstation's only domination territory.

End of June 170K X1 and 540K PS4.

So since then the PS4 outsold the X1 by a factor of 6.6 to 1, amazing.

Just keeps me wondering why MS didn't make that price cut worldwide.

We were assured that MS didn't care about the drop in profits that followed the American price cut, because they profit by the billions (as a whole) each year.

So either Microsoft considers Europe a lost cause, or they do in fact care about taking a loss on each console. Maybe a bit of both.

It might have something to do with XB1 already getting discounted deeply and bundled with loads of games around Europe. Not sure if that is MS sponsored or just retailers trying to get rid of it.

On Amazon Germany you can get a xbox for 333€ and with Fifa for 343€.

Solo PS4 399€ And with Fifa 429€
