Would ps4 and x1 gap in the USA be smaller or no difference?

Smaller 24 47.06%

Bigger 7 13.73%

No difference 19 37.25%

Total:50

I just thought of something guys.

That 349 price x1 bundles seems to be working. Consumers are buying them this holiday.

I remembered Titantall was bundled early this year @ 499 price tag.

Now my question is Would microsoft have beenn in a different positions salewise if Titanfall bundle was 349?? Ps4 gap and x1 gap would be smaller? bigger? no difference?

Thoughts? Poll added.

Titanfall has come and gone, much like destiny. It would sale, no doubt but it wouldn't be anything noteworthy, in my honest opinion.

Lets see. Replace the two game bundle (AC Unity and AC4) with a year old game that you can get for $20 and people no longer care about.

I am failing to see how that would improve sales.

It would obviously have sold a lot more, that's a $150 pricecut with Kinect still included and a free heavily-hyped game.

It would have been massive, not only because it's bundled with the best competitive MP shooter in years, but mostly dat price. Also speaking of Titanfall,

To break it down:

Playing Last Titan Standing, the last Titan and I are duking it out on the dock of a map (he also has a human pilot shooting at me). I have a sliver of health, he has backed up to the edge of the dock to give himself maximum distance from me. I pop a particle wall to shield myself from him, but the pilot on the ground is hitting me with a charge rifle, so I say fuck it and go after the Titan. He uses a vortex shield to block my first shot but eats the entire second one. I get doomed so I go in and try to knock him off. He could have melee'd me as I was in doom state and got an awesome Titan execution, but I guess he sucks. I punch him, and since I have Big Punch as one of my perks on the Titan, it knocks him back. He then takes another step back and falls off the edge. I have to eject or I will explode, I eject out, but half a second before my Titan explodes, his explodes from the fall, thus, we win.

Fun fact: I went 18 titan kills, 2 deaths, 13 pilot kills in that match and yet my team of scrubs still lost :

Either I am misreading the OP or most of the people voting are.

To me it reads as if he is saying had the TF bundle been $349 back in March, would the gap be smaller. A majority of the votes in the poll say the gap would be the same if not bigger, which tells me either I am reading the OP a different way, or people are voting with emotions rather than logic.

Because a $349 bundle at that time would have been massive.

The gap would be in favour of the Xbone if this had happened

Had it been 349$ at release, X1 would have torn the charts and probably be the US market leader by now. Titanfall proved to be a great seller at 499$, just imagine it at 349$...

TF's value plummeted, not a good game to bundle.
Edit: Just saw ur talking about the past, if it was $350 the impact would have been way bigger.

Oh yeah, a Titanfall bundle priced at $350 back in March would have been a huge deal. It would certainly have slowed the momentum of PS4 and reduced the gap between those two systems by a significant number, especially in North America.

Also, on a personal note, I would be much more likely today to purchase a Titanfall bundle for $350 than the Assassin's Creed bundle, especially if Titanfall was a hard copy.
