What I have learned from certain fans is that when ps4 was $100 cheaper price wasn't the reason it sold better. On the other hand XB1 managed to get its price lower than ps4 and it is the only reason it outsold ps4.

On topic I think XB1 will win December easily. In November ps4 had a bundle with the best selling game ever, GTAV, and was still outsold by 400k. This month XB1 still has deals and ps4 just has the destiny bundle. I say another 250k will be cut in that ps4 lead.

I dunno how people can be so dense. Of course price is a huge reason. It's extremely important.

Other reasons exist too though. For example, I personally was never gonna pick XBO over PS4 regardless of price(unless it was something insane) but a lottttt of people will see the value that XBO offered over PS4 this Nov & Dec and are choosing as such

It's only the reason in regions like the UK and US. Most world countries the PS4 could be 100$ cheaper and still sell more. 

My prediction is a 100-200k win for the X1 leaving the lifetime gap at 500k after 2 xmas's.

he's taking comments from people mainbly about WW and using them for NPD. I'm aware what this thread is. i'm sure some ps4 fans did think it but most would have the common sense to realize that in a very close market like the UK and USA that price is a major difference. Now Xbox was better value Titanfall month and it couldn't outsells PS4 then which kind of provces price alone is not always enough for X1 to beat the PS4.

But the size of the price drop this November was huge, along with great game deals, vouchers from stores, big 3rd party marketing and pretty good games line up both exclusive and multi.

I think that november win was all the pent up sales waiting for the drop, ps4 will win decemeber but it will be close
