Western developers don't cater to Japanese gamers either, the two are just too different.  Its hard to cater to both without compromising the identity of the game.  The plain fact is the vast majority of western gamers that are open to Japanese games are on PS, not Xbox.

How's the identity of Fifa, Destiny and Cod in Japan? Untouched?

It is not a secret that most Japanese games enthusiasts are on PS. If Japanese devs/publishers aren't willing to at least attempt to grow a fanbase on Xbox, then what's their purpose on business wise?

Just like Nintendo. A year ago there was a strong demand for Xenoblade copies, they refused to print/release more copies. Guess who covered those demands on a timely manner with a gouging price? Gamestop.

How much what sold? Go look at all the Japanese game sales on 360. Notice how most of those devs have stopped supporting the Xbox. Now why do you think that is?

Hint: It has something to do with money.

You could've just said that you don't know; meanwhile, you're just speculating for the sake of it.

All true, but what does that have to do with the relationship b/w TF and SFV's exclusivities. SFV is an unreleased 2015 game after all..

Both Respawn and Capcom don't have the resources to develop for multiple consoles (Microsoft gave Respawn, Money not EA)

Both TF and SFV have the biggest fanbases on their respective platforms. (FPS on Xbox, Fighting Game on PS)

Both recieves a "bag of money" rather than taking a chance on the competition. (meaning the extra 5mil/7mill is disregarded)

Both recieves development help from the company which they are on exclusive on, consolewise.

Really, they both seem to be identical situations.

You are bringing SFV to this conversation, I didn't bring it.

SF series sold more than 8 million copies since 2009. Capcom has money to make SFV; however, the quick and sure profit from a moneybag is more enticing to them than taking risk on Xbox.

Street Fighter IV sales difference between X360 and PS3 is a little over a million. It's not like it sold 5 million on PS3 and 2 million on Xbox.

And I'm gonna stop here because I don't want to help you dearil this thread furthermore.

Well, you actually said japanese devs and publishers, Capcom is a japanese dev that plus your comment about moneyhatting implies that. And Capcom does not have the resource's to make a next-gen fighter, as they have said and their finacial disarray over the year has been more than publized. Doesn't matter how much they sold 5 years ago tbh. And PS4 and XB1 are only close in the US, if your going to be exclusive to a console it only makes sense to even consider the XB1 if your target market is in the US.

That said the topic is about amiibo's and if you really did care about derailing the thread rather than trying to leave under the premise of appearing right, you would've ceased derailing it. In contrast to your post(s) prior.

Seriously im trying to give them $12.99 for a Villager amiibo, but they dont want it. Does Nintendo not like Money? Seriously WTF???

For those that dont know, 3 Amiibos of the first wave have been discontinued.

Currently on Amazon where the real people want money instead of nintendo...

Wii Fit Trainer $24

Villager $46

Marth $60

No, they don't want to cast, assemble, pack, and ship a run of one Villager amiibo from China for just $12.99.

My 8th gen collection

Nintendo board of directors need to give NOA/NOE more power or listen better to fans demand in the West.

Buddy, you're the one who thinks Japanese devs are losing money by not developing for XBO. I can't believe you even needed me to explain why this makes no sense. But whatever, this is already way off topic so I'm done here. Feel free to have the last word.

Let's keep conversations on topic and avoid further derailment.

This x100.

Nintendo proper in Japan is badly out of touch with Western audiences, which is the root of most of the Wii U's problems.
