Makes sense! Windows 8 is fast and is generally reliable OS and when windows 10 comes out in 2015, it will be the OS to have

I don't know!Yeah windows 8 are suprisingly fast especially in boot up!
However windows 8.1/8 were doomed two months ago but suddenly jumped spectacularly and leeched xp share! It supposed that windows 10 has been announced because of the win8 not performing well and now might reach 30% share(510m users).Unless windows 10 announcement hurt the growth it had recently, even though it has leaked that windows10 will be free for windows8.1/8 users..

Yep, my dad got an email from his bank a couple of months ago that he would no longer be able to continue online banking with XP. Forced to upgrade.
Huh, it's a bit odd that vanilla Windows 8 has that much marketshare when 8.1 is a free update and I think quite an improvement.
Windows 7 is right where it needs to be. I'd rather buy Windows 10 then own Windows 8 to get it via free upgrade.

LOL!Yeah the 6% of windows 8 persistently refuses to jump to the update...:P

They did not. Dont spread FUD. Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 will be supported for a long time.
