We don't Know but might one given that he os will be the same on mobiles and xbox...:P
HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA!I just read that ms will delay window 10,as i said in my thread and that's because all of a sudden windows8.1/8 make a big jump in my opinion!Autumn 2015 instead of spring 2015,so windows8.1/8 have enough time to reach 30% marketshare.:P

Microsoft discontinued selling Windows 7 licences in October. So PC-manufacturers have no other choice than putting Windows 8(.1) on their Windows-systems.
It's not the choice of the customer if the marketshare of Windows 8(.1) improves (much much slower than Windows 7 in aligned timeframes).

Oh i didn't know that!Thanks for the information...So only windows8.1/8 will be absorbing winxp marketshare?Ms is clever....:P

Let me tell you why, there's stores across the world stocking PC's and laptops that come preinstalled with OEM windows 8/8.1, and right now , windows 10 poses a threat to their stock, the average customer when offered the choice between a laptop running windows 8/8.1 in one store, and the SAME laptop, running windows 10 in another, the windows 10 laptop will get the sale. And so, they are pushing lower deals on current stock to thin out the stock levels in anticipation of new stock installed with windows 10. Happened with vista, happened with win7, happening now with win8. |
Windows 10 is a good 6 months plust away. They arent thinning stock now.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

With the usual security and bug fixes. Nothing else, just like VISTA was supported for "a long time". UI changes? Forget it. Want the start menu back? Resizable metro apps? Get Windows 10 http://www.techradar.com/news/computing/pc/build-conference-laid-bare-in-microsoft-leak-1207662 |
Exactly like every other release of Windows. Some things make it and something get pushed to later versions and something disappear all together.

I personally hate windows 8. I think there is nothing useful with the "tiles" system. I dont find it convient or helpful. Then there's the fact that my gaming laptop just had a major bios issue caused by a windows 8 update...
EVERY GAMERS WORST NIGHTMARE...THE TANGLING CABLES MONSTER!

Coffee is for closers!
To all the illiterate people who think windows 8(.1) is so different than windows 7 try this:
http://download.cnet.com/Start-Menu-8/3000-2072_4-75852660.html
Now you have ur precious start menu and ur precious windows 7 ui without dealing with metro again.
Stop being idiots and plz do some research.
Windows 7 was a resource hog and ive had numerous memory leak issues all to be removed from win 8/8.1 my old laptop from 08 runs faster using win 8.1 vs vista or 7.
So please guys stop blindly hating microsoft. As a college student windows and office one note are my software BAEs.
