I think you'll definetely always see Nintendo fail when it comes to hyping their storied franchises. Sony has the mindset of showing up everything even if it is a glitchy mess and Nintendo likes to keep its' cards close to its chest. By e3 the game will be close enough to release that I think they won't mind showing off a lot more of the game. I'm hyped for both games and will be buying both games on launch day. To those who buy Zelda games all Nintendo really needs to do to hype it is announce that the game exists and people will rely on the quality of the games they have made in the past to know they want to play it. With Sony they have a lot of Xbox gamers who switched over so they have this huge new audience to potentially sell Uncharted into so it makes a great deal of sense to hype it up. Yeah Nintendo does lose some sales by shrouding things in mystery but its the artist in them which makes them do it this way.

IKR, How well a trailer does it's job should be analysed by seeing the amount and percentage of good feedback from the gaming community on said subject, instead of just recording raw data. eg. the Star wars 7 trailer is fantastic, all the recreations, parodies, theories, rewinds, articles and lightsaber talk is proof of that. It's a star wars trailer, it was always going to get an insanely high number of 'views' on youtube, but you know it's good from all the positive feedback it's gotten. In this case Uncharted is the same, it was always going to get a high view count, but that doesn't mean the trailer does it's purpose better then its competition. |
Yep. I like you Link.
Except one is full onscreen gameplay and the other is offscreen (cam recording a tv screen come on) snippet preview with the former being actual gameplay, it's like comparing apples to oranges all over again and trying to make click views of one source matter over the hundreds of other viable sources that are also garnering views.
Seriously all this looks like is major clickbait and ammo to call anyone who doesn't like Sony a salty plebian, I really wish moderation was more specific and strict because so far all I'm seeing is warping of predicted numbers to support one sides preference and making it a factual choice over the other while forgetting subjectivity and ignoring overall the fact the worlds pop cap outnumbers the current install bases, the race isn't even over and yet here we are with one side proclaiming everything is shit if it isn't Sony and that they rule over all bar none, it;s getting really pathetic and annoying to read each time I come on here, the first time I came here the times were even but now it's Sony fans clogging up the majority threads while shitting and downplaying everything else in terms of quantity and quality as if nothing can ever compare (even seems PC isn't allowed to be compared to Sony in any category), it's seriously getting droll and boring while painting the image that this place is massively pro Sony with no one else allowed to enjoy something else without bowing down and admitting their prefs are complete gutter trash.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

LOL! Really?
WOW!
Pocky Lover Boy!

Sales number difference of Uncharted 4 and Zelda U will be much much bigger. But still Zelda U looks great. I like both of them.
Will Uncharted 4 get 10,000,000 sales on the PS4? I know they never hit that before but with the sales figures of the PS4, is it out of the realm of possibility that Uncharted 4 gets there in the system's lifetime?
Not surprised... it would have been better if we got some direct feed footage of Zelda's gameplay instead of the off-screen stuff that doesn't allow you to get a true sense of the visual fidelity of the game.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Currently Uncharted 4 has 1,011,441 and Zelda 945,370 and the Zelda video has been out around 12 hours more. Uncharted 4 has also dominated Twitter trends since its reveal. I think it was a bad time to reveal the Zelda gameplay, they should have waited until E3, the PlayStation Experience was too much lol. I also think this is why Microsoft didn't show anything at The Game Awards. Uncharted 4 gameplay Reveal https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow2cL-pp6p8 Zelda gameplay reveal |
How old are you? You read like a 12 y-old, no offense but this thread is very childish, all you say comes off as " mine bigger than yours, lalala!!!"
Mods should be aware of the quality of the threads created in here, another pointless flame-war prone topic, based on the old "Nintendo sucks/is doomed & Sony are so god awsome great & they cure cancer too".

Well for me personally I'd have to say I'm more interested in Zelda than Uncharted at this point.
