Forums - Gaming - What game will have the best visuals of 2015? Zelda U or Uncharted 4? - Uncomparable? Something will still need visuals of the year!

Best visuals of 2015?

Uncharted 4 413 40.02%

Zelda U 448 43.41%

Other ( post below) 60 5.81%

see results 56 5.43%

Too early to tell, but I ... 55 5.33%

Total:1,032

Both games look stunning, but Art Style will always be a subjective thing. IMO Uncharted 4 is the best looking game too date, but Zelda does look gorgeous, considering the constraints of the Wii U and too be fair there isn't any recent direct feed footage of the latest build of Zelda.

Uncharted 4 is doing a lot technically though, it's made the haters of Playstation very salty.

IMO the better comparison would be Tearaway or Rime compared to Zelda, but even those are really that close, maybe WiLD is the fairest, I think WiLD looks better, hopefully we see something more of it soon.

Hahahahaha. - Only real answer.

Whoolly World or The Order? But seriously this is basically us comparing a modern Wind Waker to a modern, let's say Fable - if I recall it had some lovely tech to back up its, honestly very respectable in its classy effectiveness for todays indies, art style. Obviously as an Xbox game Fable had a healthy dose more under the hood, but I think we'll largely agree Wind Waker's style ultimately proved (increasingly) superior. But the catch is, can we be sure Zelda's style has that Wind Waker magic again, or that Uncharted hasn't hit the graphical ceiling?

This is like comparing Killzone 2 to a Gamecube game.

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

I'd say more Oblivion. Wind Waker is reaching a point it'd be easier to play that anyway, graphically speaking. Given that we're talking about the non-high def version matching up to a high def game that says it all about Wind Waker though. The fact that Zelda U and Uncharted are for the same output format really means that Uncharted needs to bring its art direction A game to back up its better tech - which to be fair it seems it has. Realism usually ages worse, but right here right now, its extremely fair to say Uncharted is just a lovely.

Uncharted no contest. But quite funny that all Nintendo fans will imeadetely downplay it to "art style" being better on zelda because that is opinion and that can't be discussed.

But I seriously saw Indie games more pleaseing to look than Zelda. And the pics in this thread are quite deceiving. And UC had gameplay, details, life, richness, details far above anything possible last gen, so we can finally stop bitching about just having prettier graphics.

What is so funny about people having opinions?

You're on a forum, you're going to run into people who don't see things just like you do, unapologetically. So you might as well get used to it.

Also, I notice that you have some kind of issue with Nintendo fans, and keep bunching them in some kind of unanimous group. That's messed up.

It's fine if you like a certain art style more, and you can make your own thread for that if you want to.  In the real world Uncharted 4 is FAR, FAR more impressive looking than Zelda U.

This is the thread for that...

And that's your opinion.

Zelda

Between these two I would say Uncharted 4, but overall for 2015 it could be a number of games that claim the title.

-Uncharted 4
-Batman Arkham Knight
-Witcher 3
-etc

Maybe even something like Battlefront, or Doom(if it comes out in 2015)

I believe they'll both receive critical accolades for their respective graphical beauty, and rightfully so.

It's fine to have opinion... but to use the right to have opinion to be obliviou to reality or to push "preferences" as truth is another thing.

Why do I put Nintendo fans all together??? I'm not doing it, I'm talking about the Nintendo fans that pretend any Nintendo game looks better than PS games because being cell-shaded is "more artistic" and keep saying the same thing to try and say the gap isn't big or nintendo games look better when they clearly don't. And the worst part about Nintendo locked on this condecending from Nintendo fans and gaming critics is that they get aways with investing nothing on technology and keep putting the same level of graphics (with small improvement) for 3 generations...

Pleople that I lumped together (and you are one of the biggest doing it, as you basically show your hate for Sony quite often) say they aren't impressed with UC4 because it is just UC3 with better res but jizz all on theirselves by a game that don't look much better than the GC version of it (and yes for cell-shaded GC Zelda was already gorgeous, but this isn't any more gorgeous in comparison for a 10 year gap).

And for your information I have no problem with Nintendo, my friend have all the newest games, I have all their consoles up to GC and will buy Wii+WiiU next year, have been playing Ninty for 20 years and liking the games and finding the graphics pleasing. But I can't put a straight face and say it looks better than PS4 games in graphical department because that is absurd. Journey and Flower looks on the same league of Zelda... But UC, please don't even try.

Both? I don't know. But one funny thing about these 2 games is that both have beautiful foliage and ugly rocks.

Will this be the generation of ugly rock formations? lol

there's xenoblade to save the rock departmente. But I'm certain that zelda's rocks will increase in quality since the alpha build.
