PS4 is at 15th for the month.

Confirms a wider best-selling gap on Amazon from month to month between the two. November PS4 was 11, 31, 48 and 79.

It dosent confirm anything. #1 last month could have been 100k while this month being 50k while 15th is 30k. The only thing we can conclude from this is that this month the xbox1 outsold the PS4 on amazon US, and for the most part corolates to the order in which NPD will reflect. In no way shape or form can you deduce a gap diff, doing so is wishful thinking at best.

Don't even try that spin. December sells more than November. That's a fact.

Also, you obviously didn't read what I wrote.

Spin? Ok...you are the one using speculation as conformation and assumptions as facts. Try harder.

There have been a couple of occasions (only for PS3 tho) but December has always sold better for Xbox and Nintendo (and usually Sony too) so he's not wrong there.

He's also right about speculating about the ranks. It definitely paints the picture of a bigger gap this month, whether that actually happens is another matter because this is just Amazon.

Looks like Xbox is continuing the holiday domination. The gap for December will be significant. North American gap will be reduced even further. Interesting.

Not really, its a very strong happening where a strong product that sales great all year vs a weaker one that relies on bundles giveaways and "temporary" price cuts for the holidays.  It happens in many markets where the weaker lesser seller is forced into losses to maintain relevence and save their minority share doring short term sales bonanzas.  Good for the consumer, a death trap for the product and brand.

How the hell is the destiny bundle still in the top 100 ? the game sucks for f%&s sake.

A death trap for the brand that is Xbox?  Ok I've heard it all now.

Based upon last month's Amazon rankings, we should expect 2 things:

1) Another X1 win.
2) A smaller margin of victory.

Isn't that what we all predicted (because the PS4 price never dropped)?
