I think it's stupid for an awards show to be yet another showcase for future games. This should be all about celebrating the great achievements of all those people who worked so hard to put games on the market next year. Do you see a whole slew of promotions and trailers for upcoming movies at the academy awards or golden globee? Celebrate the games we can play now, and celebrate the achivements of people that have already been achieved.
