I think he thinks like me, we actually like to try the games to see if we like them.  We dont take others opinions into consideration, because as far as i know, videogames are like movies and paints: art. And the art is subjective; you can love a game and the next guy can hate it.

I understand that but... Those games aren't exactly cheap, (apart from the letter).. And I remember him picking "How to Train my Dragon 2" over Mario Kart 8 until like a while later

Im very much the same, for example, i bought Sonic Boom because i was intrigued by it right from the start. Its not the greatest of games granted, but im not hating the experience either.

Planning to get Xenoblade X?

What's the best game that's not majorly talked about.

What is the worst Wii U game you have played? There seems to be a fair amount of terrible ones

Ava and Avior recyclers. The title is something like that. Terrible game! Red Riding Hood gets a close second.

What about worst retail?  Mine was Splinter Cell Blacklist, which wasn't really bad, just extremely average

Blacklist was great, only real problem was the loading times, but the framerate was actually good, it was a lot better then Black Flag.
