Yeah, that's my impression as well.
After wondering why the top 10 list of "professional sports teams" seems to exclusively contain US baseball and american football teams (that nobody except US-americans would even care about), I just finally realized that the rankings mentioned there are for the US only. As it seems, BING is not even having "worldwide" lists!
They only compiled lists for a few chosen countries, and for some reason, the list for categories for which they compiled rankings differs from country to country.
For example, for Germany, they only have rankings for "VIPs", "professional sports teams", "Music (national)", "Music (international)", "Sportsmen" and "Movies". There are no lists for "devices" or video games - probably because the results simply wouldn't be favourable for Microsoft.
I just checked all the different country that they were posting rankings for, and I found a consistent recurring pattern:
In all countries that they published a "top electronics" ranking for (US, UK, Australia, Canada, Spain), Xbox One has a very high ranking - usually the #2 spot, while "Playstation" is either not in the top 10 at all or at the bottom.
This pattern is so consistent that it even applies to the UK "top electronics device" ranking, which, for some bizarre reason and unlike all other published rankings, only contains six entries - thereby once again turning "Playstation" (#6) into the bottom entry...
These rankings appear to be a great example of "The only statistics you can trust are those you falsified yourself".

People with Windows Phones? I knew a guy that had a WP, a XBox and even used Bing to search and the Internet Explorer!

You know Bill gates? Cool.
I don't know, maybe being from Europe I have a different perspective, but I doubt many people here even know Bing exists...
My mother owns a Windows Phone, and she always uses the google app.

You use Bing search more often then you think. If you use Yahoo or Siri. Bing is now close to 30% of all searces and Google is 60's. You don't have to use bing.com to use bing search.
There are lots of people who use Bing. The thing is that a lot of those people are also Microsoft fans, so it makes sense for them to search for the XBOX.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Well I guess that must mean Xb one outsold PS4 in 2014.

Who uses Yahoo? Ok, Siri is something people use, but remember almost 30% of the share in the US only, where iOS has the biggest share in the world. If you look at global data, nobody uses Bing because it isn't even close to being as good as Google.
And just to clarify, I don't use Yahoo and don't have an iPhone (thanks god), so no Bing for me, sir. As I like to say: Bing searchs, Google finds :)
