Keep up this $329 bundle and Microsoft should easily win. Go back to $349 and it'll be more interesting.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

It's a pity the PS4 has such strong sales worldwide because then Sony won't cut the price. x} I think a price cut equal to XB1's would bring it back to domination in the US. |
I wouldn't say the standard PS4 comes with nothing. Every PS4 box includes the good feeling that you have bought a PS4. Completely free and valid for a lifetime.

Man it's amazing how times has changed. almost a year ago many claimed price did not matter for Microsoft....but now it's price, price, price.. very cute :-p
edit: but yes i believe MS has a great chance of winning december because of price advantage :-p

The price is not a decider(at least not the biggest). It's just the threshold for people who wanted to buy an X1 anyway. it was pretty evident that a lot of Xbox fans just waited for the right price/games to come along.
I'd rather say that we have the "Americans are not brand loyal" debunked.

Ha! You're right about that.. but why not give a little game for free?
Imagine PS4 + Far Cry 4 at $329.... Price matters and I don't think anyone denied that a $329 XB1 + new games would do well in the US.

This "fire sale" and "giving away for nothing" hyperbole needs to stop too. Its so transparent and quite annoying. |
Lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Don't you both think its presumptious to just look at how the XB1 has performed in novemeber and forget how the entire year played out?
The XB1 went from being more expensive, to being the same price and to being a lil cheaper than the PS4. All the while the PS4 outsold it handily. Now you can get an XB1 for $70 less than a PS4 with as much as two free games and people wonder why its selling so well? How about you just wait till after the holiday season when everything normalizes again and lets see how the XB1 performs then.
Be careful, we are just looking at two months from now, many people have been made to eat crow when it comes to the PS4 on so many different predictions this year.
And while "firesale" may be a bit much, just how much the price of the XB1 has changed since its launch says quite a lot.
Why did PS4 win every NPD until November ?
If sales made sense they wouldn't need to be tracked, they could just be guessed and Pachter could even justify his salary

I do think that MS wil at least keep the console at $349 starting January, or maybe evene $329, without games of course. I can see Sony cutting PS4 to $349 too in the US.
