Probably. Why would they saturate the market like that? Unless they knew there was still a huge demand.

I checked 4 stores yesterday. All stores still had the PS4 in stock but X1 AC Unity bundle was sold out in all stores except for one. This isn't surprising though since PS4 is $100 more expensive here. I also saw that some stores still had other X1 bundles like the COD one, so the AC bundle is the main one selling.

I've seen this mentioned a few times, why would *they* if they have sold out of stock on the floor not moving some of the stock out the back onto the floor, it doesnt make sense, unless i am missing something?

My guess?  They're looking beyond Black Friday and Cyber Monday, to also pad stock for December.  December will be another massive month for all consoles, and like living paycheck to paycheck, the worst you want to be doing right now is selling consoles from shipment to shipment.  Much better to have more stock than necessary, than to run out for a couple days in the biggest shopping weeks/months of the year.

To clarify, BB keeps the PS4 Destiny bundles and vanilla consoles on the floor and XB1 bundles and vanilla consoles on the floor.

The stock in the back was all GTAV/ACU bundles, and the stacks were each about 10 feet high: hard to tell what this means without shipment numbers.

There were long lines out the door everywhere I looked when I was driving to a buffet for Thanksgiving dinner. I stayed far away from them. I was having none of that bullshit ruining my Thanksgiving. As for day of, I stayed home, because again, it's bullshit. Not endangering my life to save a few bucks on electronics.

Stopped at Gamestop and Fred Meyers today. Gamestop guy would not give me exact numbers, but said he thinks its been about 3 to 1 PS4 over XBO since the bundles went on sale. The girl at Fred Meyers said, she was not sure due to only working a couple of hours, but PS4 has been moving more console all month, and it looked like a lot more had moved since she saw the inital shipment.

Both of them laughed when I asked about WiiU. Smash is of course selling well, or that fighting game as the girl at Fred Meyers called it. In general though, it is not een in the same ball park as the other two.

So thats the happenings in a small town in Washington State. I doubt it idicates anything as to what is going on in a place like Seattle or Tacoma though.
