Probably not.

The key thing is that they've cut all costs associated with the system and do little no advertising. They are simply letting indies and japanese devs support it. I presume they're just gonna let it go its en route for a few more years and its 2015 line up could be impressive if they continue to get localisations of japanese games.

If anything it will ha e a long life span because cannot see a successor existing. Maybe only Japanese games making it a niche device, but as long as it makes a bit of money Sony seems okay with it.

They will keep it afloat and they will launch a succesor too.

No its still selling in Japan and the rest of Asia. So Sony will just drag it along without doing much for it.

They will keep it alive for 2-3 years. But the vita will not be replaced by any other handheld console from sony.. I think its sad as i love the vita.

Apparently it's making some money for Sony, so I guess they won't kill it...... For now at least!

Sony don't care about it clearly but they won't get rid of either. It will just carry on hidden

I see it go for so long as the PS4 or near, just because of the remote play functionality. From what I've read around here Sony actually isn't losing money with Vita (mostly because of no games, aka no risks) so may actually be around for quite some time, as a PS4 accessory.

PSVita was the ultimate example that handheld were not desired to play Console ports. Let it die in the West already.

They're not getting rid of it any time soon. Most of the consoles have extremely long lives, and I don't expect the Vita to be different.
