Maybe only in the West. It's been ignored at conferences except for the occasional remote play mentions. It wasn't worth putting it on sale this month so it does look like Sony will let it die quietly.

Yes. Pokemon is the biggest system seller out there. If Nintendo were ever to be close to bankruptcy, their last attempt to survive would be a full 3D open world Pokemon game on home console = Millions of sales. Just like SE's FF VII remake.

On topic: What's a VITA?

JK. I doubt it's last holiday is any time soon. Handheld consoles usually have longer life cycles per Gen, I don't see VITA being the exception. Dem Tales games and other JRPGS will probably make me get one.
