Nintendo themselves were just very overwhelmed I think as well. First HD console and they have to do everything pretty much alone.

WiiU's bad press early on wasn't exactly undeserved. Not only were its sales less than spectacular, it also had very long periods with literally NO games releasing.

So did the PS4 and XB1. I mean what new games came out for the PS4 between Infamous SS in march and Destiny in september? or on the XB1 between Titanfall in march and Destiny in september? Also take into account that these two have great third party support...

Reaching is a symptom of ignorance. Ignorance is the mainfeature of a fanboys. Fanboys shouldn't write articles under the guise of rational thinking.

The valid points don't really matter in this setup.

If people are fans of Nintendo games, then they would be nintendo fans no? Believe it or not, but not everybody likes Mario and Zelda... What if some bodies favorite genre is shooters? Is the wii u for them? RPGs? Sim racers? Etc.

I think it should always be a different category which highlights mobile games. Like how the academy awards have a different category for short films but wouldn't nominate a short film for best picture.
