As far as xb1 vs ps4 they are about the same. If people REALLY cared about how many lines of pixels are on the screen I would say ps4, but honestly the more important thing to look for is what your friends own. However, both systems are obviously MUCH better choices for multi platform games then the wii u...

Just seems like you think "Nintendo games" is one genre. If you dont like the Nintendo genre, then you wont like the WiiU...
That would be like saying if you dont like third party games, then the XB1 and PS4 is not for you...

No, you are the one that seems to lump them into one genre as you are the one that took issue with the wii u only being for Nintendo fans. Obviously nintendo is stronger in some genres than others, but just like and publisher/developer their games have their own identity. If you aren't a fan of nintendos lineup of games, then the wii u is not for you. On the Xbox one or ps4, you could not like the games that Microsoft or Sony make, but still find plenty of games to play. You see what I am saying?

I see what you are saying, but not everyone buying a console is either a Nintendo fan or wants third party games like it was a genre Nintendo is missing.
What about kids who played their fathers PS3 and love games like Ratchet and Clank, the Lego games, Rayman Origins/Legends etc...?
Casual gamers who got into gaming through the IOS devices and want to buy a console for them and their family to enjoy?
There are different kind of gamers. Not just Nintendo fans on one side and the rest on the other.
