Wow, that'll come in very handy if I drop my console off a balcony... I mean, really? Who comes up with that nonsense. |
Considering the dozens of drop and smash "tests" you'll find on Youtube it seems that this type of stuff is pretty popular.

That actually goes to show that both this gen is a lot more sturdy then last gen, at least from falling damage.

I'm telling you guys, the X1 was designed that way because its secondary function is to be used as a Shield or a blunt force object in combat. Its simple really~

Dropping it from high height. good to know that a high as 15 feet would be kk for my xbox one and anything less than that , then i have nothing to worry about
Looks like MS left some room for a slim model launch. Get it, room? :-p

If your going to get hit by a console, you definetly want it to be the XB1.
It might be heavier irc, but it has more surface area which will dissapate alot of the force it has and its less dense. It would be like getting hit with a brick with a lot of air inside it and vents.
Not to mention the slants in the PS4's design mean you are a lot more likely to get hit by one of its many sharp edges plus its denser. It be like getting hit by a sharpened cinderblock.
