I personally have no issues with remakes or Remasters, I think they are great. More games for everyone. I also don't believe age matters when making them, especially if it is a title made at the end of a generation that is upgraded for the new gen. That has been happening for a long long time. It's nothing new and I don't see why it gets so many up in arms.
Your Pikmin example also would only work if the successor to the WiiU released in 2015 with an updated version on it. You also must understand that it isn't aimed just at people who already own the titles. I am sure there would be many who might be interested in it that did not buy it in the WiiU. |
The reason I used Pikmin as an example is because it used to be a Wii game... And it kinda shows in the graphics department. It's still a decent looking game, but the immersion kinda gets broken because of the muddy textures sometimes. Probably my only major complaint with the game (still a 9+).
Why don't we skip the BS and stop complaining about just ports/remaster and complain about any game that isn't what we want.
For instance, why is SE wasting there time with other IPs when they could be making KH3 faster
Why is Valve wasting there time with Steam and not making HL3?

I own one of the limited editions of the PS3 version and I might as well upgrade. The game really lacks in graphical terms that also compromises the gameplay with low fps in some parts. Not as bad as DkS1, but if there's a re-release I want it and I'll get it because it's my money!!
