The only logical explanation is that PlayStation 3 owners are more satisfied with their console than Xbox 360 owners meaning Xbox 360 owners are leaving their console behind and are upgrading to Xbox One and/or PlayStation 4.

Now wait a minute. I was told that PS3 owners are no longer satisified with their console!

Man, the 360 is dying fast! If this doesn't prove that PS3 users are more satisfied I don't know what will.

BS, 360 gamers are more content with their consoles.

What is further confusing is the fact that the Xbox 360 still outsells the PS3 in the UK and the U.S which effectively are your FPS dominent regions. Very Perplexing indeed.

In fact a few sales people in EB have told me that the Xbox360 is now more popular with parents of younger kids for games like Skylanders, Disney Infinity etc so perhaps this explains the currently higher sales (than Ps3) of the console in U.K an the U.S - MS' refocussing the target market of the 360 while mature gamers move onto the latest gen.

Japan does not have one Xbox game in the top ten. But CoD is number one on PS3. Even over PS4. There's your answer.

Hmm that's surprising. The 360 is a 9 year old machine though.

Welp. So much for consumers being more satisfied with the 360 than with the PS3...
