If Amazon UK is anything to go by, this is not true.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/bestsellers/2014-11/videogames#1

November ranks:
#39 PS4 + COD
#65 PS4 + GTAV
#77 XB1 + COD + Forza 5
#79 PS4 SKU
#87 PS4 + FIFA
#92 PS4 + Destiny

lol. Maybe amazon uk is not the only place to buy consoles?

Ofcourse it isn't but Amazon ranks follow actual ranks most of the time.

I seem to remember a short while back we had some news of ~50k (or whatever it was) consoles being sold per week in the UK between PS4 and Xbox One, but I cant find it anywhere.

I remember that as well.

I remember it aswell because their was guy 'with the dog whisperer' as avatar discussing with me that 50K average a week for consoles in UK is impossible....

Probably the effect of the X1 deals in the UK are wearing out. The PS4 also just got GTA V and Far Cry 4, and will be getting LBP3 on the 28th.

Wow, congrats XB1. It seems Europe is the source of undertracking for PS4 and XB1

Amazon.com monthly ranks for monthly sales

Amazon.co.uk is never any good indicator for console sales, because of over 20 differnt bundles sold per console

Between this and the PS4 Germany news how long until both consoles get adjusted down?

i doubt that ps4 is undertracked in uk. Vgc seems that tracks it pretty well there!Let me remind you that vgc had ps4 at 1m before sony uk announced that they sold 1m. Also mcv uk had said that ps4+xbone was at 1.8m as of 27th September(vgc had ps4 at 1.1 and xbone before the adjustment down by 70k,at 797k)!Vgc  undertracked xbone in October,as for ps4 i don t think it s undertracked in UK.:P

If there is one thing about VGC numbers we can all be sure of, is that the PS4 gets undertracked everywhere. To be fair, the XB1 also gets undertracked but the PS4 gets it the most. And there are tons of evidence to back this.

If I weren't feeling particularly lazy right now, I would do the math with all the supporting evidence to show you just how bad PS4 undertracking is right now. I won't be surpirsed if its something like 1M undertracked worldwide.

What i would really like to know, is that why is it whenever official numbers are released showing the PS4/XB1 have sold more than we have them here on VGC are their nummbers seemingly sdjusted down instead of up. Whats the reasoning behind this?

Woah that's awesome!

Lets see how great this surge is once their price goes back to $400 in January. It's good to be taking advantage of the holiday season because this is Microsoft's strongest point of the year.

This is Uk, not US

There some pretty generous deals in the UK right now too.
