But with video games you really don't have to play them yourself to know how bad a game really is since there are plenty of videos that show how bad those bad games are. |
Does that really look like the worst video game ever? For an Atari game it looks fairly average. Sure it wrecked the industry, but as a game itself it isn't horrible.

I don't want to name anything i haven't actually played, but it's very rare for me to play a game i don't think is at least 'good' (i tend to research games before buying them, with the general aim being to avoid the shit ones :p).
The best (worst) i can think of would be Disney's Dinosaur on the PS1. I remember quite enjoying it as a kid, but then i also enjoyed picking my nose and and throwing dirt at my garden fence. In hindsight, throwing dirt was more fun.

Voted Custer's Revenge because playing Custer and raping a American Indian woman up against a cactus is pretty bad.
It does look pretty bad of course there are a ton of other 2600 games that look just as bad but none of those cost even a fraction of E.T. Just to secure the license Atari spend an $20 to $25 million dollars which is almost more then twice the production budget of the actual movie which was $10.5 million dollars.
So are we talking games that simply do not work(Sonic 06), or games that work badly(Final Fantasy 14)?
"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"

What does cost have to do with the quality of a game?
