I can see two options emerging:

1: The scam is the cause of this and it won't improve PS4 sales
2: If it hadn't been for that scam, PS4 would have lost November

Please pick option 1 if the XB1 edges November and option 2 if it doesn't. Or consider option 3:

3: The Xbox would have won by much more if it hadn't been for that scam.

Well, I think that more or less covers the comments in the next month or so.

According to this video, Only 4 scammed ps4s were actually sold. Not sure how accurate they are but that is what they believed.

On another note, this ps4 scammed seems to be a great advertisement for ps4s. so this will surely boost ps4 sells somehow.

So if Sony win November in the usa it's because of the free advertisement this scam gave them?

If MS win Nov will it be because they mislead people with the 10M statement and the free advertisement they got from all the sites reporting it, that got them over the line?

As long as Walmart stops the price-matching, then there won't be any more scammers. It might take some hours though before the scammers understands that the fun is over.
