If anything, the math suggests that 2:1 is pretty much impossible. Either that or MS is reaching with the almost 10 mil shipped, which i dont think they doing.
Layden's response with regards to the X1 price cut is probably just typical PR, Sony should absolutely be focusing on how to respond to the X1 price cut. The generation is young and the gap is still relatively small. And in the US the battle is going to be intense. Sony needs to be winning in the US most of all, they buy the most systems.

As the head of SCEA he doesn't really have a worry in this world. PS4 is doing better in NA than anyone had hoped and Big Sony's money troubles are not his problem either.
Let this man be proud of his job.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
