The PS4 dominates Europe and will sell a lot in Japan once the right games arrive, and still has the upper hand on NA. That position alone guarantees good sales for their games and multiplats. Once the Fifa-CoD-Sunset Overdrive-Halo stream of games Microsoft used trying to get close to the PS4 sales, XBone sales will not surpass PS4 during the regular periods during their lifetime.

What we know is Xbox had a huge spark for the last 2 weeks in the US and maybe in the UK , though smaller. But based on the Germany numbers though, shipped or not, Sony is killing everywhere by huge numbers.

Obviously PS is a bigger brand in the East.  We all know this but it doesnt change what I said

Why let off of their lead in the US?  We buy the most AAA games by a landslide.  Way more than Europe and Japan combined.

XBO is starting to sell better because its trying to do that.  PS is just cruising with minimal updates and improvements. 

Yeah. Saying that they will be competitive this holiday season screams overconfidence.

This GTAV + TLOUR PS4 bundle is the best deal for Black Friday... to match that MS needs at least a bundle with MCC and GTAV at $299.

It will be fun to see Sony taking November in one week.

During an interview, Michael Pachter revealed that he asked both Sony and Microsoft if they cared about being number one if they sold 80 million units this gen. Sony said they didn't care as long as it sold. Microsoft said they would care if they came in second place.

PS is a bigger brand everywhere including the US. MS recently cut prices thus had a spike in sales, but I expect things to settle to normal once MS stop giving away 2, 3 , 4 games deals with the console. So yes, last it was closed,  but for how long?

SCEA is unfazed by the price cut, but the 2:1 comment is a world wide statement.
