Quite the leap of logic... Ps3 sold less software in the UK,  where it has a lower install base.... On no way proves they upgraded to next gen.  We do now a good chunk of xbox gamers gave moved to ps4.  You cannot assume from this more ps3 gamers upgraded. Ad for calling me a moron I'll let the mods handle it. 

 

I am talking worldwide also,  UK is pretty small overall.

the yoy delcine for ps3 software is ~60% while x360 is 50%

60% is bigger than 50%

 

ill give u a very easy example to explain:

if there are 100 ps3 user in the uk and 300 xb360 user
100of the ps3 user moved to next gen and 150 xb360 user

the flat number for the ps3 is below the xb360 number, but the ps3 lost 100% of its user, while the xb360 just lost 50%....

 

and u handle it to the mods, after u call me out a moron first? wow ur really a great person...

I never called you a moron I said mehdis argument was....  A ten percent different in software decline that could be attributed to any number of factors. ...... Where is your proof all those upgraded to next gen,  what percentage owned both,  etc...... I'm waiting. 

 

You are also cherry picking one region.... The worldwide sales show something different

and i said ps3 owner buy less software for the ps3 this year compared to xb360. thats the fact

the upgrade to next gen is just the "logic" reason
the overall software decline is bigger and all the big fanchise proof the same.

 

how could u measure that in any other way? peole just dont throw theire last gen consoles in the garbage can.
u just can look, if they still buy games for theire console

Games like forza and Titan fall being on 360 has more to do with the software numbers then your leap of logic.  Again you are making wild assumptions ignoring that 360 had several big releases ps3 had not.

Interesting. I'm not that surprised though since games on the 360 still do well there and X1 did have exclusive marketing and a bundle.

Sad to see it doing so well. Preorders certainly didn't indicate this. Destiny disappointment must have led people to make last minute preorders.

You believe the pre-orders from this site or talking somewhere because the pre-orders numbers here are just well.....

It was announced that COD AW pre-orders were 70% lower than BLOPS2 and 40% lower than Ghost's. But that was before Destiny launch.
