I'm not the biggest playstation fan but I have my ps tv ordered, so I can put all my fav ps classics on my hd tv without looking crap(I hope). But my main point is, I know it has not exactly sold well, but I reckon it will sell well in Europe, but my question is will this open the door for xbox and Nintendo, I hope it does because I love my classics, what I personally think that is killing ps tb is the stupid meomery card, otherwise it would sell better, also another problem for the ps tv, I'd the fact Playstation is the strongest home console, so I think Nintendo and Microsoft could do better with this type of console.

MS doesn't need to make a cheap console like PS TV, they can just keep pushing the Xbox 360. A platform with much better support.

Nintendo could continue to push the original Wii as well. It has a pretty great library.

I think the real reason for PS TV is a cheap entry point for Sony's Cloud Based TV service, and a cheap option for expanding that service to other TV's around the house. Then it also gives you PS4 support and, PSN/SEN support throught the house.

If Sony can get that service to grow and become profitable, the support will come for games and apps, and they can build an OS off of that for their own mobile platform down the road. As I have said before. The US alone has over 160 million active set top boxes for cable and dish services. Sony is leading the charge at this,and it may be their last chance to make a cash cow, that can bring their services, software, and devices to the level of relevence of Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Samsung.

As for Nintendo and Microsoft. I think something like this would be a welcome addition to their hardware lineup. It seems like somthing MS could easily slap together with Windows 10 uniting all of their devices.

Games to try. PS Now, seriously, this service is great. Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway, and FFX. Then there are too many PSP, and PS1 titles to list.

Just make sure you research what games are compatible with the PS TV! Many of the Vita's best games, like Uncharted GA, Wipeout 2048, Tearaway, and even the Netflix app, don't work on the PSTV. (The main reason is because these games rely on the touchscreen and touchpad for their gameplay mechanics, which the PSTV obviously doesn't have these)

I don't think Sony cares about selling Vita games at this point. Maybe they cared more when PS TV development initally began. You know... when it was called the Vita TV.

The Vita has been relegated to portable indie games and weird Japanese stuff.

Okay cool thanks for the feedback, but what I think is ps tv is a trial for the streaming services for ps now. So if it works for playstation it will work for everyone remember in 10 years time everyone's internet will be at least 50mb, ping may still be a problem do. Any way I just want to play my spyro games on my tv, #happydays

while it got shelved this year the minister there said they're going to try to bring it in again next year, a tax on usage in hungry's internet doesn't sound too awful but remember when a crazy sounding law or tax is going to be introduced in your country you'll often here politicians citing "well X is doing it" so if Hungary or any country manage to bring something like this in where it will penalize people who want better and faster tech/internet then the scale of speed increase you've seen on bandwidth will come to a screaching halt.
