As for Nintendo and Microsoft. I think something like this would be a welcome addition to their hardware lineup. It seems like somthing MS could easily slap together with Windows 10 uniting all of their devices. Games to try. PS Now, seriously, this service is great. Killzone Mercenary, Tearaway, and FFX. Then there are too many PSP, and PS1 titles to list. |
If the goal was simply to have a box that can stream video, they could have made something cheaper like Chromecast which is only $30. In fact, they should probably make something like that.
If Sony wants to make their streaming services available to an even wider audience, they would add PC support.
It seems like a big goal of PS TV was to give the Vita a userbase boost. Hence, more PS TV units sold would be more of a reason for developers to support Vita. But that doesn't seem to be working out well.
