8 because they showed things I've been excited for; Zelda and MK8 DLC. Also, getting to finally see what Codename STEAM was all about lifted my view of it. The game could be pretty great.

I grant you splatoon, but Yoshi's wooly wood release date, as mario maker remains unconfirmed. And nintendo for *** sake I want to play something different then 2d platformers already, I know you try to keep the genre alive, but if 3/4 games are 2d platformers you've done something wrong.
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
8/10 It was a solid direct.
Obviously we had the Majoras Mask reveal, but other than that there was little new news. However, seeing the SP on Splatoon, a bit more on X, and getting release dates for DLC and more info on amiibos was all good.
A surprise ending and some information on how amiibos will be integrated into Captain Toad was really all it needed to be better.
8/10
Plenty of great news, only marred by a lack of solid (and close) release dates.

for 3DS 7
For Wii U a 5. Essentialy they showed off Splatoon and said its coming summer? Where are the Q1 and spring titles? Seemingly non existent.
I gave 7/10. Kirby for second half 2015 in Europe is very disappointing given a February release in North America, Xenoblade Chronicles X "targeting" a 2015 release is also concerning.
3DS stuff was excellent. Majora, Code Name: STEAM and Monster Hunter 4 look like definite buys. The indie eShop reel was also great. Splatoon and Xenoblade Chronicles X sound fantastic, and I'm really looking forward to the Kart DLC next week. Lack of firm release dates is annoying again.
Hopefully another Direct in January to nail down some release dates and talk about software like Mario Maker, Party 10 and Yoshi--games I assume are closer to release than Xenoblade. An update on Star Fox would be great then, too.
