Given that the  sales figures for the next call of duty will be coming in a week or two, I was wondering which console would have the highest first week sales for the game.

The PS4 has the largest next generation install base

The Xbox One has stronger brand association with the series than the Sony consoles

The Xbox 360 has the largest install base and brand association but is last gen.

PS3 not really a contender in my opinion.

Xbox One. Is linked to CoD in people's minds, and thanks to the price cut of the console, has significantly reduced the PS4's lead in the most important market. Will have more legs thanks to bundle and the incredible momentum X1 is building in the US

It will be close though with PS4 not too far behind, both numbers will be pretty impressive

Playstation 4 easily, the gap in install base is just to big. In U.S. it will sell more on XOne but by a small margin, however in Europe en the rest of the world the PS4 version will probably outsell the XOne verion 2:1.

Even with earlier installments on x360 and ps3 the difference in sales of COD games was getting smaller and smaller, and that was with an equal install base and a much bigger one for X360 in the U.S.

PS4. We already know this due to leader board numbers. But the gap is way smaller than one would think given the userbase.

PS4 currently has 1.45mil people on the leaderboards, what about XB1?
