Again be happy with your great values and I'll be happy with mine!  I never said it was bad or that it wasn't worth porting the MP.  You're the one trying to separate things and act like it's superior for one reason or another.  Many collections are great and this one is no different in its greatness.  I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had an Xbox One.  Not sure why you're trying to make this into me trashing MCC.

No, you actually implied Halo is about as popular as those IPs by saying this. "Just don't overhype one over the others just because they didn't get E3 stage time.  This is marketing driving perception at its finest." Halo:MC got stage time because its a big deal, many consumers are actually excited about it.

Wii Sports actually was remade for Wii U, nobody cared.

I believe people would be excited about Modern Warfare games remastered on 8th gen platforms. That would be 3 campaigns, all the multiplayer maps and DLC. That could sell millions.

Yeah, cutting out the multiplayer is a dick move. That's how we felt when they didn't port Halo:CE Anniversary's multiplayer. But they were pushing Reach multiplayer at the time. Your comparison with TLoU doesn't work because that's the only muliplayer that IP has.

You made this thread because you're unhappy about people calling Halo:MCC a great value. I consdier it an amazing value because I'm going to play it for the entire generation and it will only cost $60. I don't think there is another bundle of remastered games I could say the same thing about. Also, take into consideration people will eventually be able to purchase it for around $18.

Halo MCC is special because it has enormous value for money, more so than any other collection in history.


How is it a better value?  It's 4 games and all of the DLC for $60. You're saying that it's a better value than 5 GOW games for less than $20? The COW collection also has exclusive content and one month of PS+. That's a much better deal...

Because it has all 100 maps, and 2 of the campaigns have been remastered, not just up ported. You also get Halo 5 beta and Nightfall.

Give it a rest and quit trolling. I can't believe your comparing god of war with Halo, two completely different games. You might as well compare the Halo collection to a Sonic collection...

I thought it was just Halo 2 that was remastered for the collection, since CE is already the anniversary edition. Nightfall and the beta are great but I don't think it makes the MCC worth three times as much as the GOW Saga.

Of course it's a great value. Most collections and remasters indeed are, I don't get why people have so much hate. A lot of people didn't played the first 2 Halo games because they didn't had a OG Xbox and so on. Getting them on a single package is much easier than buying an old Xbox and 2 used copies of the games (and they won't have the online mode since it was shutdown 1 or 2 years ago).

In a similar manner, other collections represent a good value for the correct consumer. I wouldn't buy GoW Saga because I have GoW 3. It's better to buy the separate collections for PS2 and PSP (specially that one since I never had a PSP). MGS Collection is great too since I didn't had the PSP entry. And either way, it's much better to play the HD version with better graphics.

People just like to complain about MCC as they did complain about TLOUR. If it isn't interesting for you, don't buy. I won't buy Tomb Raider or Sleeping Dogs for PS4 since I played them on PC so the new remaster isn't a good value for me. I didn't bought TLOUR simply because I play online on PS3 and will just get it if my multiplayer friends move to PS4.

So you're just upset that people are hyped for a collection that they believes offers far more value than that of a 2 year old collection of SP only hack n slash games. Not sure why you would let that bother you. If you enjoy GoW more then enjoy the collection. TBH it looks like it came out in 2012 I didn't even know it existed. Clearly people find MCC to be the superior, more valuable collection.
