GoW Saga for $18 includes 4 games at 1080p 60fps and even though you're getting what MCC offered already you get an EXTRA game in GoW3!  So which would you say is the better value keeping values in mind.  I suppose it depends how much you value a Beta and a TV show but for me GoW Saga is the best value in gaming this holiday.  The TV show makes no difference there are multiple sites to stream TV from for no cost and Betas never really were that fun in the past for me after participating Uncharted 3 and Destiny ones.  Not saying it's a bad value.  I'm saying it's not an unprecedented value.  There have been a lot of collections that cost less than Halo MCC and have just 1 less game or something.

For me as a Playstation guy I am interested  to get Xbox  one for this games  (MCC)  :).

Pah, I can buy 20 ps1 games, 20 snes games and a couple n64 game to boot for that much, cant beat that!

No, they don't have to port the multiplayer. Halo:CE Anniversary didn't have the original multiplayer, it just had a map pack for Halo Reach. The servers were also shut down for Halo 1 and 2 on PC and OG Xbox.

Halo:MCC could just be Halo 4 multiplayer is MS desired. But that would be stupid as was Halo:CE Anniversary not including the original multiplayer. Instead, they ported everything from those four games and have dedicated servers.

Yes, porting the muliplayer components of each game and every map does cost more money to develop. But its obviously worth it for Halo, people get Gold subscriptions to play Halo online.

Its funny, you simply have no idea how popular the Halo series is. For some reason you think its popularity is equal to GoW and DMC.

It is more popular than GoW and DMC.  I never said it wasn't.  I'm saying that doesn't determine the value of an HD collection.  If Wii Sports was put in 1080p 60fps and redone in its original engine should it be about $60 just for that because it sold over 70 million?  How about a COD collection of Modern Warfare games?  Should that be hugely expensive because it's more popular than Halo?  Ridiculous logic there.  Also because they didn't bring the MP once which is cutting out parts of the game now that should be the norm?  No sir I expect the full game remade and I won't go around acting like it's by the maker's grace that they actually gave me what I expect in a new-gen remake.  If TLoU Remastered has cut out MP that would have been a real dick move.  

Again be happy with your great values and I'll be happy with mine!  I never said it was bad or that it wasn't worth porting the MP.  You're the one trying to separate things and act like it's superior for one reason or another.  Many collections are great and this one is no different in its greatness.  I would buy it in a heartbeat if I had an Xbox One.  Not sure why you're trying to make this into me trashing MCC.

Well...yes, 5 games for $18 is a better deal than 4 games for $60...

 

Edit: I bought this a while back, really was a good buy. Killzone Trilogy is a good one too, all three games and all the DLC for $20.

But the fact is Halo MCC is at the top, just look at the reactions on the web, the value is out of this world and no other collection ever got this praise.

How is it a better value?  It's 4 games and all of the DLC for $60. You're saying that it's a better value than 5 GOW games for less than $20? The COW collection also has exclusive content and one month of PS+. That's a much better deal...
