Everyone said the same thing with the Titanfall bundle and look how that turned out.

Don't count Sony out. Remember that this price cut is Microsofts reaction to Sony. Technically Sony is already winning so they don't have to do anything. It is entirely possible Sony could win the holidays without cutting price. All it needs is some good retailer promotions and some good bundles.

The question is if Sony is that bothered by it or not. They may want to keep market share in USA... they may wait a couple of weeks and see what effects it has, or they may just price match with certain retailers. They may be happy with MS selling more or closer to them over xmas, they may want to match it and really stick the knife in...because PS+ sales, accesories and future Disk/Online sales will go to the higher selling console. It's probably worth them price matching.

Just like MS last gen, Sony is in the position to act if they feel they need to.

Sony won't do anything unless they feel threatened. And I don't think they are right now.

That is true. But they shouldn't get complacent just because they don't see MS as a threat. That can end up in a nasty way.

... your list is incorrect...if you cannot even get the basics right, why should anyone listen to you.. for starters you know the PS4 is region free... cooling/noise both have problems but the XBO needs a massive box to cool itself down... as for software updates. Well Sony has definately had less but bigger meatier features... while XBO has had more. Horses for courses. So patches, I think that one can be left open, while the others are definately fine lines of you being incorrect and what people dont care about as much as you.

So what about about hardware specs, or perhaps asthetics, or perhaps replacing the hard disk, or perhaps how the controller doesnt require batteries or perhaps how the PS4 controller is better... you see anyone can make a list...some people will agree, some wont. But you know how to really decide which is considered the better console.... shhhh don't tell anyone, this is secret, and you might know.... CONSOLE SALES!!

The market has currently decided which the better console is, you can dispute that, but ultimately if they are priced at the same, people believe that the PS4 is the better product... or they would buy an XBO... there is no argument there, that is FACT. Just cause you shout it, doesnt make it true. Sales is the ONLY indicator of what people think is the better product, especially if the product selling less has to undercut on price and still sells worse.

Now lets get back on topic about will it sell more in November and December. Personally I think it will be close, but should still see a PS4 win.

can u buy games form the us or indian store without an additional account?

can u buy a game from the us, but install it on your  home store with the right language? e.g. germany, brazil, or hk?

can u buy a pal game and install an ntsc add on?

 

u cant do any of these  on ur ps4, but u can do ALL of that on ur xb1 ;)

 

size or look of the console is totally subjective. and its not only about the size of the cooling units. its about the design.

xb1 is using direct contact copper heatpies. ps4 is using an alu plate (heatpipes in it) making contant to the soc. thats just worse engineering

 

 

ps4 contoller ist better? lol? totally subjective!

doenst need batteries? bad idea, because the akku is low capacity and last for way less hours. if u want, u can buy the play and charge kit for the xb1 controller. thats an additional option. options are never bad (unless they come from ms)

 

 

 

so my points still stand.

try harder next time and get UR basics right. so maybe some1 will listen to u in the future...

All this unless this unless that.People said the same thing when Titanfall came out,during the $399 console and when MS just did that $50 promotion last month.Sony still stomped on them and Nov,Dec will be no different.I think they know more about what they need to do than someone who posts on an internet forum lol.

In Feburary, the gap was the closest it ever was (A 10k gap). People had a very good reason to think Titanfall would edge out the win. Now in a month where MS have exclusive marketing and bundles for 2 of the biggest holiday games (CoD and AC:U (with both being $50 off for the next 2 months)), Halo, and all major multiplatform releases that are on PS4, what is going to make people not look towards Xbox over PS4?

Hell, MS almost beat PS4 in 2 months while being $100 more expensive, so when they're $50 cheaper in the holidays with game bundles, you are going to see people say "unless".

Firstly, stop spacing out your posts, it takes up way too much page space.

Secondly, stop using your opinion as fact. First you say that the PS4 isnt region free, I tell you it is (I can buy a japanese disk) and now you change it to, accessing store content without an account. Why would I want content off the indian store, i wouldnt. US Language, LOL that still english you muppet. But if i want to, i can create an account.

So i have to buy an extra charge unit, how is that better... it's not.

Which console is better as far as the consumer is concerned.. the one that sells better... it's simple and an undeniable fact . I know you are probably having problems typing (I can see all your spelling mistakes)... perhaps its the salt in your eyes making it difficult to type.

With all due respect, the gap in September was almost 2:1.  March ratio was MUCH closer.  August ratio was MUCH closer.   September was one of the biggest gaps.   You comment perplexes me.  Isn't it more accurate to say that a free game with the console like in the case of Madden 15 will lead to much closer ratios as evidenced by August?

That's why I said if you look outside Destiny month, a game heavily associated with PS4 and bundled.
