So currently sony has around a 1.2 million lead in the us not counting this weeks adjustments or the final week of oct. So what is everyone thinking that with nov/dec microsoft will do what exactly. Edge out sony slightly in the us while getting crushed globally yet again and barely win some npd's at the end of the year...so what it wont be enough to substantially cut into that million plus lead which makes it meaningless tbh.

Gonna be honest I mainly asked this question because Sony has won (or is going to win) 10 months in a row NPD.  The current record is 36 months I believe by 360 (32 possibly) which was broken by PS3 September 2013.  If PS4 is beaten in November it could be a long time before that record falls if at all this gen.  That is one of the few sales milestones that's up for grabs this gen with Sony being so dominant so I thought it was worth keeping an eye on even though I realize it's completely arbitrary.

Oh i see, fair enough at least its something for microsoft to hang their hat on its a shame that even with china they werent even for a single week thus far gloablly able to take sony down, and i do prefer some competition otherwise it makes the console war kinda boring :)
