Because Xbots never existed. There is absolutely no brand loyality in US.

Lol tell that to Apple

Vendor lock in, I know way to many people who splurged on way too many apps with there first and with iphone's not being that more expensive if you have a contract stick with it.  Besides it's not like the rival offerings are that much different.

Lots of users are already giving really good reasons for it. They may be getting the far better exclusive games but i dont think its going to last long, i feel like 2015 would be the last of MS first party releases (aside from Gears announcement). After that MS would probably depend on upcoming COD/AC bundles till they release sequels of any successful franchise of 2014/15. Sonys PS4 has a lot more promise to me beyond 2015. That and im very sure lots of these games would make their way to PC or multiplatform in months time. Might as well have a decent PC, WiiU and PS4.

I can't seem to understand this. America has always been an FPS land and Xbox One is the place for it they are releasing a Halo Remaster collection in a few weeks, a COD bundle with exclusive content. And no offense to the PS4 but what good AAA games is releasing for it?  Xbox got Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, Halo Remaster for this fall, and they got Quantum Break in the spring. The ps4 has Driveclub in the fall, and The Order in the spring. So, as for as exclusive games go the Xbox One is the king. Also the X1 is 400$ now in America same as PS4 so I would expect better sales for X1.

Why do you think the PS4 is still outselling the X1?   Do you think that exclusive games are no longer the deciding factor and perhaps media bias may have a big role in all of this.

Are you willfully ignorant? Destiny just came out, had a PS4 bundle. Im not sure whether you're joking or not.

XB1: Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive, MCC.  QB has no release date.

PS4: Driveclub, LBP3, The Order, Bloodborne.

Multiplat: COD, AC: Unity, Far Cry 4, GTA 5, Lords of Fallen, Rocksmith, Dragon Age Inquisition, The Crew, Moto GP 14, then in spring: Evolve, The Witcher, Battlefield, Project CARS.

So, let's not act like XB1 has dazzling amount of exclusives.

My 8th gen collection

This fall ps4 has samurai warriors 4, lbp3, driveclub, guilty gear xrd, akiba's trip 2, motogp 14, mxgp motocross all exclusive. Spring has two exclusives bloodborne, the order, then multiplats Dragon ball xenoverse, dying light, the witcher, dead or alive 5, project cars, ff type zero hd with ff15 demo, resident evil HD remake, resident evil revelations.

With all these exclusives and superior multiplats, Xbox one has nothing to go up against it till next Christmas with halo 5 and who knows when quantum break will eventually release. And by then, the Xbox will be well over 10 to 20 million consoles behind ps4.

It's this thing called inertia, my friend. It doesn't just apply to physical objects, but to product sales as well.

I have no idea. My ps4 collects dust. No good games for it yet

I wouldn't say "no good games".  People that only on a single console make the best of what they have.  There's always something fun to play if you're in the mood.

With that said, aside from a session of WWE Network on Friday, my PS4 "recent activities" said that I hadn't played a game since September 29, 2014....and that was PT.  I've been gaming quite a bit but not on the PS4 (I'm a Wii U guy, tho!).  To each, his own.
