The best part is that he is working on other games aswell!

Majora's mask remake? Oh you, stop teasing me

Should i? Though question! :D

Truth is, Aonuma has become a Zelda exclusive developer for a long, long time. If we go buy that, he's already working on at least 2 games, be it producer or supervisor (like in Hyrule Warriors).
When he says that he is working on other games... well, people have clamoring for a Majora's Mask remake since Ocarinaof Time 3D.

That would be way too fucking awesome!

just to make it clear that he means other Zelda games than the already announced one for WiiU as the game would need roads which means it is set in the future.

I don't know if I would want this to happen though

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

If this ever happens it will be the death of Zelda games to me. Most likely i'll never purchase another game if something like this for some strange reason actually becomes true. Skyward Sword and Spirit Tracks were a step back and really made me dread the future of the series.

Hey, they've been toying with futurey stuff for several games now, so seeing this in a full-blown sci-fantasy Zelda someday would be awesome. Unlikely, but one can hope.

A sci-fi Zelda could actually be really cool. Not a full blown sci-fi game, but with a lot of inspiration.

Yes! We are near to get this!

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

If they're adding a bike, why not a gun?

Shadow says no.

The german source said it differently. This seems to be a bad translation.

I fancy myself to know a bit of German and the free translation of the German sentence is "I wish I could." Would be helpful to have the Japanese script.

Interesting. Still, wishing for something and wanting something are essentially the same thing, and the distinction is so minute that they could easily be the same word in Japanese. You're right though, we won't really have the full picture without the Japanese script. I don't think it matters much. The current Zelda game is way too far along to add something like this in, and who knows what will be going on in two years after they've finished it.

Oh god no. Three timelines is stupid enough.

We have not yet begun to get truly stupid. Dragon Ball has twelve timelines. Twelve!

I don't care how stupid the Zelda timeline is and clearly neither does Aonuma/Nintendo, so they can feel free to make it more stupid as far as I'm concerned. It's at least good for a laugh.

They should've done this from the start like Final Fantasy who reinvents itself with every iteration.

But I wouldn't say it's too late. LoZ had its fair share of drastic changes in its world and gameplay. Though probably not enough to warrant a cut like a cyberpunk world.
