LBP3, Far Cry 4, DA: Inqusition, Project Cars, CoD, AC Unity could all break top 10

By looking at his list I think he is excluding anything that didn't release on next gen consoles the day the game originally came out. But in that case he should also exclude battlefield 4.

No, i didnt include wiiu since it is a over a year older than XBO/PS4 while PS4/XBO arent even a year old yet

I don't really see the logic in excluding only some types of ports. With exception to the manor in which they were released, what's the difference between something like BF4 and TR:DE? They both a type of port, they both provide a relatively substantial increase over their predecessor, and they're both available right now. Including one but not the other comes across as cherry picking (not saying you are, that's just how it comes across).

And why remove sports titles? They don't generally review any better than titles from any other genre. If we're excluding them, why not shooters? Or RPGs?

This list has be thoroughly confused

Nobody wants to see a list infested with NBA, Madden, and FIFA.  

Again, im focusing on this generation.  Tomb Raider is a game that was made for PS360 and a year later ported to PS4/XBO.  Same goes to others.  

So 4 FPS titles if fine, but 4 sports titles is a step too far? :p

TR:DE wasn't made for the PS3/360, it was ported to them from PC. BF4 was likewise made for PC, and ported to the PS3/PS4/X1/360. Literally the only difference between them is that TR:DE was released later on. In the present day though, they're both released and functionally the same thing. Hence my confusion of you excluding one simply because it was previously available earlier on something else.

I'm not criticizing your intentions, i'm just pointing out that the list is a tad picky.

 A LOT of people count it as a "port" only if the port is relased at a different date (Titanfall should be considered a port too, after all it was first demonstrated on PCs).

I would say these people are not as technically savvy and they are more likely to fall prey of PR wars :-/

2 - Bloodborne

3 - That Guerilla Games that has giant robot dinosaurs (if it does not have forced multiplayer like destiny etc.)

4 - Whatever Santa Monica Studio is working on... God of War or new IP

5 - I guess Halo 5 (if I include so much Sony stuff...)

6 - oh, Throw in the Nintendo games...

How about this.  Focus is on games released within this generation.  Not year old ports or remakes.  I do think youre intelligent enough to know what im aiming for and im not sure that really needs to be explained that it was old ports.  

I did edit in ports from past generations though to be absolutely clear on the subject
