By the end of this year...yeesh. I assume we're going with the Metascore with the most critics.

T-2. TitanFall - 86
T-2. Forza Horizon 2 - 86
T-4. Battlefield 4 - 85
T-4. Shadow of Mordor - 85
T-4. Walking Dead: Season 2 - 85
7. Little Big Planet 3 - 84
8. Assassin's Creed Unity - 81
T-9. Project Spark - 80
T-9. Watchdogs - 80
T-9. InFamous: Second Son - 80
T-9. Alien Isolation: 80

Off Topic: Am I wrong in saying I don't expect a single game announced so far to be in the Top 10 at the end of the gen with the exception of FC4?

Next year will be very interesting indeed xD  Uncharted, Halo, Quantum Break, Bloodeborne, Fable, the order, Tomb Raider, multiplats, and much more xD  2015 is looking like a superb year :D

Released or announced?  If released then I agree, by the end of the gen it should be 90+ games only, but I think a few games already announced, like Uncharted 4 or Bloodborne or Persona 5, could all be in the top 10 of the gen by the end.

It's not hard. Remakes like GTA 5.

 

Titanfall for example and horizon 2 are new games primararly lead platfrom on Xbox one. Horizon 2 is missing.loads of the game on 360 as is titanfall. They are dumped versions at best. Plus no dlc support.

New ip's this gen.  Its really, really, really.... really simple.


i read of the opening post and he suggested lbp3 could get in there. It's really really really like i mean really simple that that game is coming on the ps3. No different than the last of us being on ps3/ps4. If the Last of US was on XB1 and not PS4 you'd all be drooling over it. Don't even deny that! 


Wtf? It means no halo mcc. Far more important than tlour to Xbox gamers. Is choose halo anyday over tlour.

Far Cry 4 in the top 10 at the end of this gen? That would be pretty sad in comparision to last gen! PS3/360 game 10 in the top 10 was a 95/10 game :P

None of the games so far this gen and the remaining this year will make it to the top 10 when it's all said and done for the gen. Not even the WiiU games released.

THis is just my opinion but i think reviewers are a little more harsh overall this generation.  I feel like  90s were given out too much last generation so i dont think we will see as many as we did last gen.  However, a few nintendo games already has a 90+ so i think youre right that all this year's top 10 wont be in the final top 10.

Hard to say. I think sunset overdrive will meta 84. At least I hope its a good game. Far cry 4 looks like it could be around 90. I like this thread it shows what really is happening on the actual retail front with games out this generation. Not cash cows from last year etc.

What about stuff like Tearaway Unfolded and Ratchet and Clank Redux (doesn't have an official title yet), which are tecnhically ports/remakes, but will bring alot of new content?
