Little big planet never did much for me and I've hated toad's pitiful jumping ass since mario 2. I do kind of like the new characters in lbp3 though, so I guess I'll go with it.

Maybe I should wait a bit longer before I corrupt our youngest as well. He's still enjoying himself playing with wooden blocks, trains and building things with the big lego pieces. The 5 year old only wants to play Minecraft, Terraria or watch let's play videos.

Captain Toad is cuter by far. LBP is cute in its own way, but the cloth aesthetic has a bit of a dark quality to it. When I look at Captain Toad I'm not reminded of Oogy Boogy and scarecrows.
