Well, I'd probably make back the extra cash spent on hardware through savings on software since I'd be buying so many fewer games.

Hell, being a Microsoft gamer would be extremely affordable for me. Only $400 spent on hardware instead of ~$500 (3DS + Wii U), and a staggering $0 spent on games to play on that hardware. I'd have an abundance of free time on my hands.

The question is why would you even buy all those games at full retail price?

Financially it wouldn't be too much of an issue (i'm not particularly wealthy, but i generally spend so little that i end up with a lot of disposable income that i normally just save), but i don't have even a fraction of the time i'd need for that shit :p

Yes, but it's taking up all my extra time. I am even on this site less because of it. I have spent over 130 hrs on Forza Horizon 2, almost completing the game. I may have about 20-30 more hrs to go on it to finish all the races, and who knows how much more time I will spend just messing around in that game.

I have spent about 65 hrs on Shadow of Mordor on ps4, I am about 94% complete with the entire game.

I also just bought the Evil Within and Alien Isolation, haven't even touched them yet. Will go back to Wii U for a bit before I begin those.

I have no idea how much I will spend on games for the rest of this year, but I know it will be a lot. There are still quite a few games I am purchasing on all three consoles before the year is over.

Life is good, and I am happy I have the extra time right now to indulge in my insane gaming habit.

Honestly, I need more than one console to satisfy my gaming appetite. Nintendo is great though, I love my Wii U.... Most of the time anyway.

I owned all three consoles last gen so I can afford it, now it's just do I want to get them? No... Not at all, 0 interest as of now. I decided to get off the hype train to mediocreville last gen.
